My uncle has downs and I won't even sugar coat it... He can be a fricking a-hole. But he was the shite when I was younger and we had a common interest in ninja turtles, power rangers, video games, etc.

I honestly envy them in many regards. I truly believe that intelligence is actually a curse in many ways, and the dumber you are, the happier you are. Intelligent people are always wallowing in the past and obsessed with their future. Dumb people merely live in the present and are always happy. Its sad really.

You really have a depressing outlook on life. Most intelligent people I know seem to be quite pleased with their lives.

People with Downs aren't "dumb". Dumb is having the ability to learn and expand one's intelligence to the fullest...and choosing not to do so. Come on dude.
