Gallup

Has Russia become the new boogyman taking China's spot? I'm thinking people are starting to see that China's economic prowess is just a huge bubble ready to burst and not that Russia is some economic giant, they have a leader that doesn't give a frick and doesn't respect Barry.

Don't worry people we can always hit the "Reset" button or draw some "red lines".

I suspect Putin gives a frick, he just has a pretty good idea how far he can push the envelope and what he is risking by his behavior.

if I could make any sense out of your post, i would comment.

I guess you're saying a Putin-led Russia is nothing to be concerned about? I disagree.

Is that the same 68% that continue to vote for people like Obama or Romney?

Not to the extent that it's being propped up to be. It's like the Cold War all over again except we aren't dealing with our Daddy's Eastern Bloc. That 68% needs to understand our biggest enemy is closer to home.... In D.C.

I honestly suspect Putin has a double digit IQ and if I was in Eastern Europe i'd be worried, but American's... naaaa

Well, I agree that the people in DC are more of a threat.

With Putin and Russia, I think we need to stay tuned. Militarily, they are a Superpower. I don't trust Putin, and I don't trust Obama's ability to deal with him.

Putin is pretty damn smart if you actually look into what he has done.

Take the selling bonds thing that he did with Ukraine, forcing them to keep their spending at below 60% GDP or else they'd have to pay back all the loaned money.

THen Putin takes over Crimea, the economic manufacturing region for Ukraine, which sent their spending over 60% GDP due to the loss of tax revenue and businesses, then the US sent 3 billion in aid to Ukraine, and that money went straight to Moscow to pay off Ukraines debt

I agree, a lot of troops on the eastern border. I think he makes a move soon.

People that are old enough to remember the Cold War and what it looked like and the desires of Russia at the time. Putin is playing the role of the commisars and oligarchs of the czarist communist era.

Russian is not the enemy. The American Government is the enemy.

Americans continue to amaze me with their credulity.

Read 1984, a prophetic book indeed.

Did you ever hear about that ex-KGB agent that defected to the U.S. in the 60s and said that the Soviets would fake the collapse of communism to lull America to sleep? I think its called the Long Deception Strategy. I cant remember the dudes name, but if I do I will link the story.

This is such bullshite. I'm sure it makes for a cool fantasy story, but it's not true.
