The rest of the tourney for a concussion?? come the frick on. That is a bit extreme. Hell, if they made the final 4 that is a two weeks rest. yes, I know she has had multiple but crap, I'm sure she wants to play. I'd tell the docs to buzz off

It's not her first one... She's prone to them. And you don't want the 3rd concussion.

I am pretty sure she is past her 3rd. She had one in high school and I think this is at least her 3rd in college. She considered not even playing this season at all because of it. I hope she is going to be ok for the future.

I'm not talking in terms of talent, its her leadership, her work ethic, her toughness, everything she stood for has impacted the program in many ways. I think Kenny would be a fantastic graduate assistant

Look, dont buy into the media hype/scare. I am all for safety, but do you really think if this happened 5 years ago she would be ruled out for the rest of tourney? absolutely not. The precautions are overboard. I dont know her personal situation but the decision should be hers based on information between her and her doctor. Not a mandate by the team physician or university to mitigate responsibility for a (potential) future lawsuit. All I'm saying is, in general, this has gotten way out of hand.
Ex. Mike Anderson suing Ridell for concussions he had in the 70's. give me an effin' break. NFL class action lawsuit (another effin' break needed) nobody told these players to play the game. They chose to play the game.
Anyway, that is getting way off base. Point is, I'm not trying to judge the severity, I'm just saying concussions in general blown out of proportion. They are over diagnosed. A free safety jars the ball loose on a crossing route gets a stinger? Well, lets get an MRI and oh, you cant play next week. It is too extreme. That is a for certain. Again, I'm not judging her personal situation. I hope she is OK. Maybe missing the tourney is warranted but it just seems like a bit much to me.
Qualifier: I played college fb and (yes, cool story bro) have had my share of concussions.

I have seen maybe 3 or 4 lsu womens b ball games over the last four years, and in everyone of them she is on the floor after getting kneed or elbowed in the head. It is quite the phenomenon really
