The Golden State Warriors have demoted assistant coach Brian Scalabrine to their D-League affiliate in Santa Cruz, Calif., with 11 games to play in the regular season for what coach Mark Jackson called a "difference in philosophies."

Apparently Jackson does not get along with his assistants.

One year Malone and he went several weeks without even speaking to each other. And management loves the White Mamba, but Jackson apparently hates him.

Yea Jackson is on his way out in golden state. It would be great if they hired scalabrine to replace him.

Is that because he sucks, or what? Is he gonna get fired or is he gonna leave for a better job? I don't pay attention to the Warriors.

They are't sucking, although they haven't lived up to expectations some had for them. Yahoo reported that his contract ends next year and there haven't been any talks about an extension and that the team isn't planning to extend him.

They'll end up with 50+ wins in the West. Don't know how much better people expect for a jump shooting team. They're streaky as hell. That's not Jackson's fault.

It's likely that he just doesn't get along with the brass.
