Just wondering if anyone knew the answer to this.

Google says there is a house in Spanishtown built in 1823 (Peno House), but it does not say if it's the oldest building still in exsistance. The old State Capitol was built in 1847.

Not in BR, but close, the old Saint Gabriel Catholic Church was built in the late 1700s. You wouldn't know it by looking at it because it was renovated in the gothic style in the early 1900s, I believe.

My parents live in a house that was built in the late 1700s, but it was moved from its original location and restored.

What area of town did they move it to? That's pretty legit.

Just guessing, but Magnolia Mound plantation has got to be close to the oldest actually in the city, probably plenty out side that are older.

Edit: MM main house built 1791.

Do the Indian mounds count?

Architecturally speaking, they were probably cutting edge for that region when they were built.
