How many rounds do you need?
Need?

What does that have to do with the Second Amendment? The 2A is part of a Bill of Rights, not a bill of needs.

No justification is needed.

It's like asking a newspaper "how many pages do you need?"

Why are you talking about buying ammo like there is going to be a zombie apocalypse?

Maybe people like shooting guns and want to stock up on a ton of ammo before they won't be able to anymore.

I can go through a bunch of rounds pretty quickly. To have all my magazines loaded (which is how I store them) it takes over 2,000 rounds (.308, 9mm, 5.56, .22, others), if I just go to the range, shoot what I have and reload there goes 2,000 rounds.

So I can totally see where 10,000 rounds are a drop in the bucket. Hell, I have probably 1,000 rounds or more of shotgun ammo and that is just for duck hunting.

Any idea how many hunting days it would take me to shoot 1,000 rounds?

How many words do you need to fill your 1st amendment right?

The original post and the three pages discussing it as if these are legitimate questions are the perfect example of the unique brand of crazy that keeps me coming back to this place. Sometimes the things you guys discuss are so hilarious it is just impossible to resist.
