I'm just worried he'll be he next year. Then add back Jrue and Ryan, and then Monty will struggle how to use them together properly.

Give Monty credit. We are playing our best ball right now, albeit under crazy circumstances. I don't think he's the guy for the job, but were gelling now. Benson will probably give him a shot to start next year since he's still under contract.

I guarantee you one thing. If Monty doesn't start showing his humble side, and keeps up with his stubborn, "my way" coaching style, I guarantee his firing will be our #1 topic again thruout the season til he's gone. Book it.

People are so hung up on firing him that he could lead us to the championship game and lose in a 7 game series and people would still want him fired

As most of you know, I've gone back and forth about the guy. I've wanted to give him more time. I've wanted to fire him.

But watching up close last night, he does seem to have the attention and respect of the players. I mean all of them. And that was a spectacular effort by a team with 9 guys dressed out, some or most of whom should see very limited minutes.

He's going to be with us next season. There's no doubt whatsoever about that. I'm hoping for the best.

He's definitely a good motivator, but I've been saying basically since we lost Malone he needs to find his Tex Winter. Speaking of which, there's all kinds of rumors swirling right now how Marc Jackson could be in jeopardy. It looks like Mike Malone may have elevated the coaching of yet another motivational speaker. That's all we need, another Mike Malone.
