I really enjoyed the mesh of comedy and horror. Any similar flicks you'd recommend? I also enjoyed Cabin in the Woods.

Horror comedy? Evil Dead 2, Dead Alive, and Re Animator are all good.

All good recommendations above.

Particularly Reanimator and Dead Alive.

I'd add Cabin Fever. I enjoy the heck out of that movie.

Fright Night (2011) wasn't too bad.

The original Fright Nights would actually be pretty good movies in the same vein as well. A bit 80s cheese, but fairly good none the less. Night of the comet is another guilty pleasure type from the 80s as well.

John Dies at the End would be another good one.

Slither, House 2, Gremlins, The Lost Boys, Tremors, The Monster Squad are a few other ones.

John Dies at the end was really fricking out there but i liked it.

I would consider phantoms just to see Afleck's best work to date. He was the bomb in that movie by the way.
