The AP-GfK poll shows 59 percent of Americans now disapprove of Obama -- a point higher than the previous high set in December.

Obama's approval rating stands at 41 percent. That's the second-lowest figure the poll has ever found.

I'd be interested in getting that 100% in one big room. The 59 go to one side..the 41 go to the other.

Evaluate the sides

I'm not a fan either, but I can't bring myself to celebrate the fact that people hate the job he's doing. I truly wish he were doing a good job, but he isn't.

Alternate poll headline: 41% of Americans are certifiable morons.

If he were doing a good job, we would be much worse off considering what he believes in and advocates for.

If he believes in the policies that he supports, I hope he does a terrible job with them because we win when that happens.

Take a poll of those riding in the wagon and a separate poll of those pulling the wagon.

Base it on amount of income tax actually paid for 2013; those who paid more than $20k are pullers.

90-10 and 90-10 in differing directions.

I cringe at the fact that there is 41% of any sector of people that do not disapprove of his performance.

It suggests that even 6% of the 47% of die hard Obama supporters grudgingly disapprove of Obama's performance.

Oh I agree. I mean to say that I wish I thought he was doing a good job. In your context, he's actually doing a fantastic job.

It's disturbing to see that 22% of the respondents in that poll say they seldom or never vote.

Maybe now they'll be dissatisfied enough to try to do something to change what they don't like.

And it is about half as high as congress.

I don't much care, but imo congress is the real problem. And the electorate that is far right or far left is the biggest problem of all.

Those generic Congressional statements are such abject BS.

Ask folks from Kentucky what they think about Congress. They'll answer "Congress is horrible!" Ask what they think of Paul or McConnell, and it's a totally different story.

Massachusetts, California, Texas . . . same thing.

Who's worse?
Harry Reid/Nancy Pelosi or Obama.
They're both bad.
But Reid/Pelosi are dumber than a houseplant.
The fact they're worse, doesn't make BHO good.
