With the rumors going around that Dell is not going to be pursuing a high value free agent this coming offseason, what are everyone's thoughts on maybe picking up Chris Kaman to pair next to AD. He was pretty serviceable in his one year in Nola and the Lakers are not going to be resigning him because he doesn't fit into Dantoni's system.

We need a defensive minded center, Kaman is not even close to fitting that description.

He doesn't fit with New Orleans. He doesn't play defense.

The way things went down I'm pretty sure bridges were burned and they don't want him back.

I think y'all's best lineup is Davis at the 5 with Anderson playing 4 assuming he's ready to go.

This. I can't see either side being interested in him returning here.

He had a meeting with Demps early in the year that got heated, I think the disagreement was on his role/minutes, the next thing you know he's off the active roster and up on the trade block. There were no takers so he awkwardly was put back on the roster. The reports we were hearing that year definitely made it sound like a burned bridge situation. Then a few weeks ago in a Kaman thread on PR, MM of BSS said he had some inside info that he'd never reveal until Kaman and other players from that team were no longer in the league or on the team. He strongly implied that the heated exchange got racial.
