I'm in an 8 team keeper with 4 bench spots. 4 keepers with a 3 year cap. Should I pick up Baez?

My teams strength is pitching so I have 1 bench spot dedicated to a RP and 2 bench spots to SP. That means ill have no offensive depth if I pick up Baez.

If you really have to have him I'd drop Carter

You should have plenty of pop to go around with Goldy, Gyorko, Beltre, Hardy, Myers, and Trumbo

He should drop Hoover IMO

Why hold a bench reliever who wont have a job all season?

Your staff is already strong. I'd send Nova or Lackey on their way.

I think Nova is going to have a big season

It is a one keeper league, dumb I know...I picked up Hoover as the sexy pick of the day last week but now I really am thinking of dropping him for Baez

He's good for 10-14 wins. I'd keep him

Hoover is also going to get the closer spot starting day 1. Marshall and Broxton are both on the DL. Chapman won't be back for a while.

If you only start 2 RP you don't need Hoover

Trade him and drop a starter for Baez. You don't need all those SPs in a head to head and lackey and nova are meh

I just glanced and thought those were bench spots. Pretty dumb setup

4 closers are overkill in h2h. Trade one with a starters or something

Dangling Hoover, especially to Chapman's owner, in a 2 for 1 certainly isn't a bad idea. Kill two birds with one stone. Try to get an upgrade and it frees up your roster spot for Baez.

At the same time, you could just cut Lackey and get it over with. Those SP5's type starters are easily replaceable.

I would have no problem cutting lackey or nova.

Chapman may never be the same. I think in the long run, Hoover could have some value.

this has been my thought all along...what if he's screwed up for good?

ETA anyone know why Ivan Nova is the most searched player on rotoworld?

Cause he'll be the Yankees best SP this year. No, but he will be 3rd in the rotation
