WV blew it not going in the post every single possession after the 12 min mark.
Hill and Rhodes with their games of the year when most needed.
Great heart. We outrebounded them by 15 with the two posts out for big stretches of the game.

I just saw that Louisville score. 30 point victory over Iowa. Remember the Tigers lost to Loisville over at their place earlier this year by 20. Not having everyone may hurt. Moncrief and Kenny both healthy would help.

Great win. They played tired with little depth and still beat a 2 seed.

Inexplicable really with all the fouls on our post players.

Yeah, with the foul situation, we should have just fed the ball to Bussie down low. Why we didnt do that, i dont know. Oh well..

Ballard is a magnet for that ball. Ballard had 15 rebounds.

Saintsfan, I was thinking the same thing. But, they continued to shoot perimeter shots once our posts came back in. And in the end, they ended up shooting themselves out of this game in the last five minutes. But..................I'll take it!

I'll be in Louisville at the Yum Center on Sunday.

Great Game Ladies!! Congrats!! #7 seed LSU Defeated #2 seed West Virginia without 3 players, 2 hurt and 1 suspended. The 76-67 Victory earns the Lady Tiger's their 14th trip to the Sweet 16!!

Hope we get Kenney and perhaps Moncrief back on Sunday at # 3 seeded Louisville!

thanks lasports. 6'1" is questionable for center unless she has unbelievable jump. Youngblood returns but is not with our run and gun style, unless she is out after suspension? Anyone know?

I think we also get two players back that had to sit out a year, one from Memphis and one from West Virginia.

Yes we do...Akilah Bethel from West Virginia she is 6ft 0'' she is very versatile and Coach Caldwell has said that she probably will not play the post but Coach Caldwell said that she can play just about any other position. Ann Jones is a 6ft 3'' Forward from The Univ. of Memphis, she might be called on to play some post as well.

You're welcome! LSU coach Nikki Caldwell announced sophomore center Derreyal Youngblood is suspended for the NCAA tournament. She did not say that it was permanent. Perhaps she will be back next season.

Thanks BABE...you know your stuff and nice to see this team advancing, especially Kinny and Plaisance. McKinney will also be missed.

Louisville is gonna be tuff...

No, actually I don't have my tickets yet. Let me know if you have some extras for sure. I'm definitely gonna go. It's only about an hour and ten minute drive to the Yum Center for me.
