I think he's just eating random shite, but the SO is slightly worried.

fwiw one was at 7 am and the other just happened.

should I take him to the vet?

here's a pic for cuteness

Puppies have incredibly sensitive stomachs. Just keep an eye on him. They eat pine cones, sticks, anything. They do it because their gums itch. You'll know if he's really sick.

He eating? Drinking water? Pooping?

How old? Has he had all of his shots?

I wouldn't yet, unless he's in obvious pain.

Give him another day. If he gets off his food or continues vomiting bring him to the vet.

well, I was just enjoying some supper in a resturant after work and the couple sitting next to me had a kid...about 5 minutes after my food arrived, the kid just pukes all over the table and floor....they just got up and switched tables like nothing had happened....I lost my appetite and left....

apparently, vomiting is not anything to worry about...

he has been throwing up the last couple days. But today was the only time it was more than once.

He always has weird wood looking stuff in his shite and we constantly have to grab him from eating the most random of things.

I think he's been eating these strings that hang from underneath the bed. He had a long arse string in his poop this morning. So we moved the gate to block him off.

Then I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep an eye on him.

As a puppy my dog would get pretty sick about once a month and puke all day. Freaked us out. It stopped after about a year, now I can't remember the last time it happened.

forgot to answer your question in my first post...

a pup throwing up twice in a day that many hours apart is nothing that would worry me...basically is really only a problem if he throws up repeatedly and gets dehydrated or something like that...

just watch him and make sure his mouthand nose stays wet and normal colored and his energy level stays relatively normal...
