Dr. Drew alluded to the reality that might well face Adam Carolla and anyone like him: look for intense government scrutiny. Carolla is a winner but the powers that be don't like winners who are out of their sphere of influence/control. Liberals are all about control.

He usually does. His episode with Gavin Newsom is one of my all time favorites. I can just imagine his expression as Newsom told him that, as a politician, he likes to work on problems small to big.

Corolla either has "frick you" money in the bank or he's one of those guys who truly doesn't give a frick about what others say about him or about how they can screw with his career.

In any case, I like his approach to living his life.

Call me what you will but it's not conservatives using the IRS to intimidate politic opponents, it's the Obama administration.

He says all the time he has "frick me money." Meaning his podcast does not answer to anyone except for himself. I highly recommend the Gavin Newsom interview.

Link to the whole podcast featuring Newsom (over one hour long)

If you're unapologetic about what you say, then usually can get away with it.

also, let me add, that AC doesn't pull the "i'm just a comedian" line that other similar types (on both sides) pull when they get heat

Lemme guess, you come from a fatherless home and are an absent father yourself and AC pissed you off.
