Definitely one of the places I want to visit before I kick the bucket. Some of my all time favorite beers are brewed by the Van Roys. Did you get to meet any of the family? Jean Van Roy is an ultra traditionalist when it comes to his brews from what I've read. Enjoy your time there and Salud!!

I saw Jean, but they were bottling some Kriek and he was actively involved on the bottling line and wasn't available for talking. I did talk his wife a little bit.

Yea, it makes its way to BR and Nola enough that I didn't need to go crazy. The shipping costs would offset the price savings. Main goal was to fill any holes I had in their regular lineup, which I did and then some with the 50N4E.
It's really cool, cozy place, a remaining vestige from an era gone-by.
