I don't know. He's not LBJ, and that is who the media has chosen to run with. Not that this can't change, but now it's "Will LBJ get to 5" not "when will Durant get one?"
He should have the pressure on himself to win one, but the media seems to be me content to harp on LBJ chasing Jordan and Howard being a plague, as opposed to Durant being an amazing player, and Paul causing just as many problems in locker rooms in his career.

You may be to right, to a degree. However, if LeBron and the Heat win another one this year (especially if they do it by beating the Thunder) LeBron will have 3, and arguably the second best player in the game (or 1a) will have zero.
It won't be nearly as strong as it was for LeBron, but the pressure will increase no doubt.
Without question, if he played in New York or Los Angeles, it would be a different story though.

That's pretty impressive. Anthony Davis picked the wrong week to average "only" 34.7 points, 14.3 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, 1.7 steals on 60.3% FG%.
