If so, how was it? What pro did you play with? Was it laid back and enjoyable, or was the pro all business?

Our foursome is stoked about the chance to do this, but I don't wanna get too excited if the whole experience was just rather meh.

I was reading a book by Dave Stockton. He talked about his experience in Pro-Am's briefly. He said he much preferred a partner who was laid back and didn't get mad at himself on the course.

I would try and enjoy myself as much as I could, regardless of how I was playing.

That's all I got.

They have Pro Am's on Mondays? I won a spot in one many years ago and had Ray Floyd as the Pro. I think I was playing to a 9 or 10 at the time and if I knew I was out of the hole, I picked up. He appreciated that so we got along real well. I didn't ask for any advice, but he passed on a couple of tips about my swing and ball position.

Does it cost the same to play on Monday as it does on Wednesday?

Will be interesting to see who you draw as a Pro on a Monday.

I've heard you really just get lucky with weather or not it's gonna be cool.

Some of them will b.s. with ya and give a tip here and there, others will be concentrating on the course with their caddie.

What's the Monday pro-am run per person?

The one on wednesday is more than that.

That's what it was for the Biloxi tournament last week at Fallen Oak for a team.

Maybe a little less. Dude I played with shelled out $1500 for the round.

I just laughed.

That's only 6 times what you would normally pay for Fallen Oak.

No, she hires a hooker to take care of it.

ETA: And another reason why they are playing for 7 million dollar purses.

That is a brutal amount of cash to pay for a round of golf.

I could see how it would be a blast though.
Go out there and Nitro some pros and make them think twice about their manhood?....hell yeah.

It'd be a fun one time thing. I imagine a lot of people get a chance through companies sponsoring the tournament.

The company I work for is paying for it, partly for advertising purposes, and partly because my boss (the owner) loves golf.

I'd do it just to hear the pro's talk about my club face at address.

GFY

I'd have Woodland asking me for deadlift tips and where I'm storing all the power.

I have no clue, but you can tell they're in a good mood while down here.

Except when it's 100% humidity, and in the 80's. Then they look like everybody else.

Monday will be with the lower level guys and rookies. They make about $1500 for Monday, and normally they get to ride a cart Monday, so they may not have ttheir caddie.
