Home Construction - Do it yourself Question

I recently formed up for a 14' x 50' patio slab and a 4' x 44' driveway extension. Everyting is ready to pour. My question is, how hard is it to pour and finish the concrete if I was to try to do it myself? I have never poured or finished before. Or, should I hire a professional to complete the project. If I do it myself, I am looking at 1500 - 1700 for the concrete and the pump to go over the house, since a concrete truck will not be able to get to the back of the house. If I chose to pay someone, how much am I looking at spending, and do y'all know any good contractors that could complete the work? Live in Denham Springs. TIA

do it myself?
Are you considering doing this alone or having a crew of friends along to help?

Not by myself per se. I could probably get my dad or other family members to help. How hard is it to pour and finish the concrete? I have been told there is a art to finishing concrete and I don't want it to look like shite.

You would need some tools that you don't have
Concrete mess ups are forever or until you bust it up and repour
I would hire that project out
