I caught the tail end of it yesterday and was trying to remember. Early on wasn't one of the 1st booty traps (I mean booby traps) where about 4-5 big arse boulders fell from the top onto the path?

Did they show how the Fratelli's got around it?

It would have been humorous to see how the fratelli's got around those traps

The Booty traps, booby traps, you are referring to weren't set by the goonies. They were part of one eyed willie's cave. They did show the fratellis walking around the big bolders at some point.

It really is quite humorous how much you can miss in these movies, until these guys point it out for you.

I think this was a scene cut for the Theatrical release but added back for the television airings. I too was like WTF. There was some extra footage for the Plank scene on the Pirate ship.

So there was a monster in the water? I always thought I dreamed this up.

I've never seen the octopus version, and found it odd that it was in the Atari game.

Yup, was just about to come back and post this. I remember being confused when they were all like "...and then there was this giant octopus.." and all that.

i like those "everything wrong with..." videos but they take some liberties. a ton of shite in that goonies one, for instance, there was nothing wrong with. i get it's just a comedy thing, but frick there were still like 80 things wrong, why include the 25 extra things that are acceptable?

Yeah, some of them are stupid. Without half of those things, there would be no movie. I mean of course the map leads Mikey and crew to the same place as the Fratellis...would've meant nothing had they been on opposite sides of town.
