I see there are quite a few live albums featuring the original lineup that I wasn't aware of....I always thought Fillmore East was the one and only.
For anyone who has listened to them, how's the sound quality and what's your review of those you've heard?

Live at Stonybrook is ok. The only track I really listen to on it is Blue Sky. Also 1971.08.26 A&R Studios NYC is pretty good. The sound quality on each is listenable but nowhere near the level of Fillmore East, although the playing is still outstanding.
I really wish there was a soundboard of Duane's lone live appearance with Derek & the Dominos (Tampa 72??).
Some non-Allman live recording of Duane that are sick include the Grateful Dead 4.26.1971 Fillmore show (Sugar Magnolia in particular features an epic duel between Duane and Jerry Garcia) and the Delaney & Bonnie 7.22.71 A&R Studio NYC recording featuring Gregg and Duane Allman + King Curtis.

The Atlanta Pop Festival is awesome! Great sound quality and crisp vocals. Vocals are better than Fillmore.
They played two days and did the same songs. The album has both versions. Amazing how they changed the songs up from day to day.

Ludlow Garage is solid with a couple of awesome standouts in Dimples and Im Gonna Move To the Outskirts of Town. Sound quality isn't great but it almost adds to Duane's raw greatness in this one.

S.U.N.Y Stonybrook, Ludlow Garage, ATL Pop Festival, Closing of the Fillmore West, American University 12/13/70, and Boston Common 8/17/71.
ETA: The performance of Blue Sky at Stonybrook is probably my favorite song at the moment. Duane's solo (the first one) is absolutely fricking killer, and Dickey's is pretty amazing itself. The very long rendition of Dreams (around 19 minutes, I think) is very ethereal and powerful. The absurdly long 25 minute version of You Don't Love me has the occasional sloppy moment (I'm thinking they were starting to trip hard), but has an equal amount of jaw-dropping virtuousity.

Truth right there.
Hopefully the ABB's will start releasing some older "deep cuts" now that they will be done after this year.

I found a smokin' version of You Don't Love Me, which segues into King Curtis' "Soul Serenade". I was mistaken about this cut being from the closing of the Fillmore West, it's apparently closing night at the Fillmore East.

On a sadder note...
ABB cancels Beacon shows
And yeah I was flying to NYC to see them Friday....frick.
I guess I will have to find where Derek and Warren will be sitting in.

Mar y Sol Pop Festival -1972
Great two disk album which I've had since 1972. Only 1 ABB track, but great playlist!
LINK )
I used to collect albums with Duane as studio player at Muscle Shoals, AL.
John Hammond's Southern Fried is the bomb!!
