Just a heads up they're some pretty good deals if you're booking early.

Booked at Crowne Plaza on Kirby near reliant for $111 and $126 for Friday and Saturday.

JW Marriott for me (not cheap, but cheap compared to NYC).

We're staying at the Hilton Garden Inn near the galleria. It's literally next door to The Men's Club. As in you can walk there.

I'm sure it's been discussed, but when do tickets go on sale?

Season ticket holders can make requests mid April I believe. Not sure when the others do.

Houston hotels are ghost towns on weekends.

Even with a huge game on the South side of town, downtown and Westheimer (where most of the rooms are) will still be half empty that weekend.

Weekdays however, are a different story.

There is a four-game Astros- Rangers series this weekend too - would be very simple to book a hotel proximate to Minute Maid Field and enjoy downtown Houston... might simplify decisions and avoid buzz- driving.

Metrorail from Downtown to Reliant too.

Read some reviews on the crowne plaza and decided to go with the Hyatt instead.

You can buy now through the Texans but its a package that includes tickets to the Texas Bowl. I'm guessing tickets for the LSU game alone will be about half of the prices listed below.

· $337 Verizon Wireless Club II (300 level) or Field Level Prime II (100 level)

· $267 Field Level Corner/ Endzone (100 level)

· $207 Mezzanine (300 level)

· $187 Loge Sideline/ Endzone (500 level)

· $112 Gridiron Sideline (600 level)
