Wow. Helluva ending.

1. Too bad about Doug but his character had run his course. Can't be managing trollops if you are chief of staff.

2. Ah, chief of staff. I think Remy just got himself a new job. Watch Remy and Frank kiss and make up.

3. Tusk. What does Frank have in mind for Tusk? Tusk did throw the president overboard. Will Frank reward him?

4. Will we ever hear from Rachel again?

Nice to see more women waking up to Claire. As if anyone bought that crying act. Crying cuz she got caught.

Did you also watch season 2 before watching season 1?

Great show. Hated to see Doug go.

Remy as COS would be cool. But I don't know if wants to work with Frank agaiun

Frank won't reward Tusk. At least I don't think he will. I still think he wants to hit him where it hurts

can't wait for the next season

Well, I just finished myself, and what a hell of a series. One of my all time favorites.

Honestly, the direction I think the next season will take will be completely different, and will be the final season. Next season will be Frank's fall. I think it's awfully convenient that Lucas' plea sentence is 7 years. I think they'll skip seven years next season. Once out, Lucas really is not going to give a frick and destroy Frank without any journalistic integrity. And the ironic thing is that at this point, I think Frank will be known as one of the all time great presidents, but Lucas will expose him for the murderer he is.

I just don't think that Frank will get away with killing Zoe and Russo in the long term. He's got to pay for it from a narrative perspective, even if its at the cost of the country. As much as I like this series, I really can't see it going beyond a 3rd Season. It makes perfect sense to end in his and Claire's destruction, since they're basically evil incarnate.

BBC version, Francis becomes a great PM. Wife has him assassinated when it hits the fan to preserve his legacy.

Remy needs a new life and frank needs someone he knows well.remy will like the prestige of being COS and he is ruthless enough for Frank

Something about Seth intrigues me... I believe he will play a large role in next season. Possibly COS now that Doug is gone.

Remmie as well... Anyone else get the vibe in the first season that he and Claire may have been involved when he worked for Frank??

Keep in mind that they seem to have an open relationship.

They know about each other's affairs and don't seem to mind them.

Yeah Doug got to tap it. How screwed up is that?
Also I suspect Frank had Rachel do what she did to Doug.

Either AIDS from that bi-shite or Claire will kill him. She will be the first female prez on the show.

I got that vibe. She's had a dick in every hole in her body.

Frank still has people out there who know he killed Zoe and Russo. I'd be shocked if he weren't brought down by them in some way.

Well I don't mean to directly take the office. I'm thinking of her knocking him off and later successfully running for President.

Or maybe her killing for some other reason.

In the BBC series, FU killed a reporter, than ruined her friend who tried to expose him. He killed a political hack on his own side as well. Guy had a substance problem. He ruined numerous rivals and his wife was like Claire.

Had a 12 year reign as PM, even forced the King to abdicate at one point. However, it was coming out he summarily executed several people in Cyprus when he was a young officer, Other things were hitting the fan and he was going to face ruin if they came out.

His wife plotted to have him assassinated and of course someone else was blamed. As he lay dying in her arms, she assured him it was the only way out for him as to preserve his legacy and prevent from disgrace as he would be seen as a fallen hero.

Who the hell is voting for a philanthropist with no tangible political or law background as the damn president?
