I find this atrocity: LINK

quote:

The country boasts only 59 National Parks total, found in 27 states. GAYOT.com has selected the best of them...

And then it ALL came in to focus what you people have been doing all this time....

The atrocity is that Glacier and Zion failed to make the list, but Death Valley did.

And one of the Washington Parks deserves to be on there as well.

So many great hiking trails. I really like the Colorado Plateau region.

I don't know if this was directed towards me, but I agree. My initial response was confusing.

We have two road trips planned. The first one will be Northern California to Vancouver. The second will be Montana (Glacier NP again) through Banff and Glacier NP (Canada).

I think drive time from Glacier (U.S.) to Glacier (Canada) is around 8+ hours. However, Glacier (U.S.) to Banff NP is only around 5 hours... and Banff is amazing. It may be worth checking out if you can fit it in or extend your trip.

I have no idea what you're talking about, but the whole thing about only listing half of the parks on one site and then linking you to another with a slide-per-slide list...that's bad.

We're actually planning on heading up to Banff NP as well. Curious, how are you getting there from GNP? We're stopping through Waterton Lakes NP and then going on into Banff via the Kananaskis Trail. Can't wait.

It's not set in stone, but we plan on stopping through Waterton Lakes as well, and taking Hwy 22 (I believe) north.

What a horrible list. Denali isn't even in the top three in Alaska.
