Edwin Edwards finishes first amongst all candidates, but losses in two different head to heads. Dan Claitor polled second, with Paul Dietzel surprisingly right behind him. Discuss.

I'm voting for Edwards. I think he's a Legend that did "great things for Louisiana" and they are all crooked anyway. I like his reality show too. Sometimes I also chew tin foil for pleasure.

Edwards is a narcissist and a crook and will never be elected again.

This race will be won by Garrett Graves. Put it in the books...

What's Graves big contribution to coastal restoration? That's all I've seen attached to his name.

Paul Deitzel is just the same as every other career-aspiring politician.

I asked him what separates him from everyone else, what makes him different...

His response: "What do you mean?"

I'm not sure who will get my vote, but I can say without a doubt he won't.

Is his show not doing so well? Lol. I know he went to jail for corruption, but what specifically did he do? Lord knows it takes some serious stuff to get a politician put in jail.....

Pretty sure the show was just a pilot and never got picked up, not positive though.

So he really is just doing it for the money? Who would lead the field if he backs out?

Paul Dietzel is mostly name recognition at this point, for his grandfather. I bet a lot of those who were polled think they're actually voting for the grandfather.

His name is the X factor in this race, now until Election Day.

a lot of people say this, but I have been waiting for years for someone to tell me what these things are?

I heard that Graves will win this thing. He is Bobby Jindal’s boy. Worked in Washington for Billy Tauzin and John Breaux. He knows his way around DC.

Legendary and great things of course. He totally did great things. That's why he's legendary. Because of the great things, that made him legendary.

Plus he's a real character. We don't have enough characters. Especially legendary characters that have done great things and who also accepted my friend request on FB not knowing that I chew tin foil to keep myself entertained.

The best part of that link was seeing Cassidy getting 65%. It would be hilarious if EE got a higher % than ML

His contribution is that he is a political appointee at coastal restoration/DNR. Coastal restoration brought billions of federal dollars into the office of the governor. (Katrina, Rita, and Gustav money)

Edwards is a joke and will not get elected. Claitor is a Republican but has made it clear that he isn't going to be a Jindal lap dog.

Jindal will likely bankroll Graves.

You think Jindal will let Graves tap into his fundraising network? I suppose that makes sense. Who else has good fundraising potential?
