I have a set of plans to build a pirogue that Riverside Lumber off of Downman road gave away lord knows how many years ago. They sold the quarter inch marine plywood you needed for the build. To my knowledge Riverside gas been gone for a long time.
To build one is the top item on my bucket list when I retire later this year. Where can I find the materials to do this build.

I called Gueydan wed. They have 1/4" Marine Plywood in stock for $52 a sheet.

LSU ag center has a a good set of plans as well. I plan to make one after I build my shed.

Robichaux lumber in thibodaux. They have 1/4" 4'x16' marine plywood and all the other supplies you need for the build. They are the only lumber yard around who sells 16' sheets of plywood. That will save you plenty of work by not having to worry about making a splice joint in 2 sheets of plywood.
