Finally tried a pizza with anchovies...

Seriously not bad. I don't think I'd order them often in the future, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I've become a fan of anchovies lately. I like the ones they put on the Fleur de Lis special pie. But you gotta get the good ones. I bought a can of anchovies at Calandro's and they were great, but the ones they sell at Albertson's are crap -- full of scales and bones.

I tried it for the first time a few weeks ago. I enjoyed it. Not something I want every time, but i'll definitely eat them again.

They're one of the few places that place them under the cheese, such that they sort of melt into the sauce. It's the best way to have anchovies on a pizza. Wish more places would do it like that.

The ones I had were under the cheese. They were really good. A friend made the pizza.
