Peggy Hill is the only fictional character I have well and truly hated.

The only one of those I truly despise is Skyler. She's one of the most unlikable characters in TV history.
I also hate Betty, but the character was entertaining at least. Skyler was so bad I know people who nearly stopped watching the show because of her role.

How dare Skyler demand that her husband stop lying to her and engaging in illegal activity that puts their family at risk? Skyler's complaints are all completely reasonable. Carmela's not as much since she married a mob boss, so she knew what she was getting. And while Betty is not my favorite character on earth, I hate how she is demonized for not wanting her husband to openly cheat on her and do whatever the frick he wants.

She didn't really do anything wrong. If you think she's so horrible then you should also think that Marty is way worse.

That was one of the worst things I've ever seen. It was a pre-meditated, vengeful act that was completely unnecessary - she could have simply left and divorced Marty on grounds of his infidelity. Targetting Rust as she did elevates her to the upper echelons of countiness. Besides, cheating just to get even is a childish, scummy, degrading thing to do even if kept secret. Yet at the end, she came out smelling like a rose, while Marty's got nothing, and Rust spent a decade drinking in the wilderness and letting his hair grow like a damn hippie.
