Where is "the chicken coop" at Toledo bend located.

Will be going next weekend to do some fishing. Gonna rent a small cabin. Heard the chicken coop is usually a hot spot.

Pretty sure the coop is over. It's along the bank just north of Patroon Bayou on the Tx. Side. It's white perch winter fishing.

I was gonna tell you the same this Alex said. The fish there are caught in 25-40 or so feet of water. Once they start moving up to spawn it's over.
