Sorry no pics.

Weather today was perfect early. No wind, temps rising fast, and not a cloud in the sky. Bass were going nuts, wake all over the place.

Biggest one of the day was 5 lbs. Caught a lot of quality bass in two hours.

Anybody else pull any out the water?

Lafayette area. Fishing top water mainly had to switch three different lures before I found The Chosen One.

Then it was on in that bitch.

I would say go by The Cottages of Baton Rouge. When I lived there I consistently slayed bass.

Are you going tomorrow? I may be too... I'll be by myself if I do and have an extra spot in my boat.

SLIGHT chance I will go, if I do it will be late evening as of now.

What time are you thinking of going? I might be able to work something out.

i've seen a couple wandering through the shallows just walking around today.

couple of guys seem to be having luck any time the sun is beating down.

few out today, not sure if they had any luck though.

Me and two buddies caught 35 the other day. Lots of 3's, a 6, a 7, and one that could've swallowed all of em got off at the boat

Fish a white fluke walk the dog method. I tear them up with that. Walk all the way back and fish the sides of the bank. Stay top water.

They don't have anything bigger than 3 pounds in that lake but they have a ton.

A friend of mine was having luck with a rattlin rogue. Henderson area. I have a few. I may have to tie that one on the line and give it a go.

That's generally a February deal, but with this winter, maybe.

Idk what that is.

In the dirty water you want something white and shinny. Clear water mock bait fish or stick with white.

Sub surface bait, fished walk the dog style. I've caught some nice ones on it in the past. Haven't used it too much recently. In clearer water I've had great success with the gold rogue.
