Report: EA lands deal for Titanfall 2, sequel won't be Microsoft exclusive

Congrats to the PS community on their upcoming game in 4 years.
At this point I would not buy Titanfall 2. This Titanfall feels like it is missing so much. The problem is Halo has a story and a soul and COD had so many options and goals to keep you entertained. This feels incomplete, but it is their first go at it.

but absolutely about EA killing everything. EA is to gaming franchises as is RoundUp is to weeds in a garden. Only a matter of time before they insert micro-transactions and start pumping the titles out every year without improvements

Titanfall 2 or a remake of the first will be released before 2018, you can bookmark that.
I'm guessing 2016 holidays or early 2017.
2018 could happen I just don't see that long of a gap for this franchise, especially if they want this to compete with COD.

Why would they? Titanfall just came out, why say you have the sequel coming around the corner. That would only hurt sales.

Respawn apparently didn't know a lot of what EA did behind the scenes either.

Pretty sure they've said they they're going to rotate Titanfall, Battlefield, and SW Battlefront. I wouldn't expect anything until 2017.
