Look, these things are very nice (once got a tour of the locker room in TS and Dinardo did it right in 1997), but $4,000 each!!! wow, who buys that? Maybe a sports bar or two but as much as I support LSU and will pay the increased tradition funds etc to see Tigers play and keep us in the athletic "arms race"...this seems waaaay high...thoughts?

If I was rich, I would buy several in a heart beat.

They don't expect you to buy any. They expect people who spend 4k just to go out to eat on a Tuesday night to buy them. If I had money to spare I'd buy one in a heartbeat, that's an amazing piece of LSU history

To have it custom built from scratch I bet you'd pay at least half of that

As someone who builds things like this regularly I can tell you that the material cost on this is quite large. If you were just using ply and then some laminate/veneer on top to give the appearance on the real deal ones you'd cut cost tremendously. But full sheets like that are quite pricey. If I was commissioned to make a replica I'd probably be charging around 2500-3000, but you wouldn't have the history behind it. Can you imagine having Eric Reid, TM7, Glenn Doresey, or Jacob Hester's locker? That alone would make up the difference behind a commissioned work and the authentic brand.

I already built some just like it and forged all kinds of signatures on it... I'll sell for $3995.

I want 2, one for me and one for my son. We could get dressed every morning in one. Wife can hang or clothes out the night before.

figured it was a matter of time before these showed up. I would have loved one, Im out of the collecting hobby now. honestly, Thats a little high, even for my taste. but I guess its supply and demand. Im sure they will sell a hand full at that price but I doubt they will sell all of them for that

Material isn't cheap, but that is certainly an oak plywood box with a solid oak face frame and locker door. It's not solid wood.

I wonder how much the seller paid LSU for the lockers?
