Can we just agree that this was the fate of the Malaysian flight?

Anyone with knowledge that this could not happen?

LINK

Because it makes a lot of sense to this novice.

This is all hilarity, by that I mean this wild speculation by the current "OJ" which is this plane. This plane is on the bottom of the ocean, plain and simple.

I imagine a mayday or distress signal would have been sent out.

Yep, and 6 or 7 hours in flight and then run out of fuel or a crash anywhere along the new course makes for a huge search area.

The one part that doesn't seem plausible to me is I don't think a plane would stay up in the air for seven hours if there is a fire on board. Maybe the wheels burned out after filling up the plane with smoke but according to the author of the article oxygen masks would be a no go with fire thus the crew passing out from smoke.

A good read but still a few holes in it imo.

I find that article offensive, it's a blatant disregard to basic intelligence.

This is dishonest

The pilots' houses have been searched. Terrorist connections have been investigated. Passenger backgrounds and possible motives have been scrutinized. And still, 10 days after the plane disappeared, we know nothing.

We know the pilot had a 777 flight simulator in his house, we've heard his family moved out the day before the flight, we know he's an anti government man, we know more than 'nothing'.

How the hell do you expect us to take your radical theory seriously without considering the Alien Death Ray theory?

Do you even Occam's Razor?

I'm thinking maybe, no proof, that Tommy Lee Jones has company up there on the moon.

Perhaps the plane crashed, but it avoided disappeared from radar midflight. Do you have a link to all of the planes in the last 30 years that have disappeared mid-air? Lots of planes crash, none of them fall off the face of the Earth. Lots of planes crash in the ocean, and it takes a few days to find the wreckage, none of them go down without air traffic controllers having no idea what body of water they are even located in.

Lost was such a great show that they are making a sequel. Only plausible explanation.

Nope. No telling at this point. Somebody will sort it all out, and we'll all say, "Ahhhh. OK."

you're right....they were probably hijacked and flown to some remote island in the middle of the night without any lights and they're all living off of coconut milk and rodent meat.
