The love for Pitch Perfect on this board is bizarre. Idk, I thought it was ok.

I don't worship Pitch Perfect, but I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

It made no sense to me.

Oh I'm by no means saying it's a great or even a good movie, I just thought it was just better than I expected it would be

I guess maybe the enjoyment I got out of it was because I had recently started watching Mad Men and had a love for seeing Roger Sterling on the screen.

ETA- The hats making them able to use the doors to teleport seems like some cryptic video game shite straight out Super Mario World or Legend of Zelda,so it kind of had a 90s, Super Nintendo kinda feel to it

all time, it's gotta be 'the terminator' for me. saw it in the theatre, and the only reason i did was because the movie we wanted to see was sold out & we didn't have anything else to do. going in, i thought it was gonna be a cheesy POS....hell, even the name 'the terminator' sounded like a lame title for a movie. funny thing, there were maybe 15-20 other people in the theatre at most, and many of them were there for the same reason as our group was (man, i sure wish i remembered the name of that movie, lol). long story short, by the time the movie was over, ALL of us were cheering & hi-fiving. i know we all did our part getting the word-of-mouth out, and i'd like to think we did our small part in helping give the movie the legs it needed

i was told it was hilarious and saw a bunch of threads on here quoting it, so i had some expectations. they exceeded them, but i thought 21 jump street was going to completely suck, and it was awesome
