Top 5 American Bands? Who would you put up against UK's top 5?

(Elvis, Elton, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Billy Joel, etc are excluded for the sake of this topic)
The UK top 5 is pretty much agreed upon, and actual sales reflects it:
1. The Beatles
2. Led Zeppelin
3. Pink Floyd
4. Queen
5. Rolling Stones
The US on the other hand, is widely debated and sales never reflect who people list as their top 5. According to sales it would be:
1. The Eagles
2. Aerosmith
3. Metallica
4. Bon Jovi
5. Guns n Roses
So, who would you put up against the UK's dream team?

I'd probably swap out the Heads for the Replacements, but that's a personal choice. I like this list. I'd also consider CCR for the Velvets, who are a little overrated though their influence isn't. And if they count, I'd put the Beastie Boys in there in the Talking Heads slot instead of the Mats.
