@RapSheet: #Jets are still looking to add a WR, and source says they are interested in Sidney Rice. #Saints are too, & #Seahawks would welcome a return

Hope we don't sign him.

This seems slightly bizarre to me. This guy seems like a colston clone that has a little more speed. He is only 27 though. Makes me worry about the front offices opinion of drew brees' deep throw capability going forward. Maybe it says something about colston too? Or maybe they are just dipping their toes int he water and it means nothing.

That being said, you could potentially have 3 huge targets on the field at once. That'd be interesting.

wouldn't hate if it was on the cheap (as it should be with his history).

Kind of an up-and-down career.

He's only 27? Wow, feels like he's been around much longer.

Bet he remembers his last time in the dome not too fondly

We've got a field stretcher on the roster.

If he can stay healthy and we can get him for a decent price, I'd be down.

I think it's nothing more than someone that could potentially be very good and come cheap at the same time. Obviously would be a gamble though.

It's pretty surprising when you look at his career stats though, he's actually only had one good year. I'd say he's worth a roll of the dice though as long as they aren't depending on him.

good WR but he's missed a lot games.

2007- only played in 13 games.
2008- 13 games
2009- 16 games (was a beast that year).
2010- 10 games
2011- 7 games
2012- 16 games
2013- 8 games

Kinda strange if true.

Looked at his history and the guy can play no doubt. Favre loved the dude 2009 but it seems we are the ones that got him in NFC championship with a knee.
Has had two ACL's and a hip.

seems like a lot to ask looking at his career stats.

Unfortunately, the Saints might be in bargain bin territory now.

We need WR help, but Rice is made of glass. If we do sign him, I hope it's an incentive laden deal.

The one year show me deals have been popular and Brees would be a good QB throwing it if thats what he is looking for.
But if he does sign with us can we list him as a linebacker to get us through camp?

Do you have a Kenny Britt fathead in your bedroom or something?
