She still has no shot in hell and will lose.

A single issue candidate with the position she has on abortion is not winning in Texas.

I don't know much about Abbot, but this is pretty hard to believe. Is Abbot that unpopular of a candidate? Is he the Mitt Romney of the Texas Governor's race?

i think it's unlikely she will win, but it's not as "impossible" as some here try to pretend

she's also not a single issue candidate.

What can you tell me about Abbot. As a Louisianian I don't know much about him.

Abbott hasn't even started to campaign yet. No radio or TV ads yet.

Wait until he ramps up the advertising and he will pull away.

Also this poll puts Ted Cruz at 48% unfavorable... which isn't true

He is loved in this state outside of Austin

i actually like him a lot better than the last two Texas governors. He's still a conventional republican in ever sense of the phrase though

She loses by 10-15%

The math doesn't work for her at the moment.

I know, she has not mentioned the one issue that made her the darling of the left since.

Yea I think must people fail to realize that in state wide and national elections Texas is pretty close to possibly becoming a blue state.

If you look at it county by county it is clearly red, but popular vote is closer than one would imagine.

The GOP loses Texas, California and New York

It's time to whore themselves out to the Latino community.

1. what citizens are immigrating
2. will illegals be given the ability to vote
