Offense
Unrestricted Free Agent :
RT Zach Strief
C Brian de la Puente
WR Robert Meachem
OT Charles Brown
QB Luke McCown

Restricted Free Agents:
FB Jed Collins
WR Joe Morgan

Defense
Unrestricted Free Agent:

OLB Parys Haralson
LB Will Herring
LB Keyunta Dawson
DE Kenyon Coleman
S Jordan Pugh

Restricted Free Agents:
S Rafael Bush
DE Tom Johnson

Which of these guys do we try to re-sign? So far as I know, we haven't restructured any contracts yet this year, but I think I saw we only have $500,000 in cap room left.

Strief, Collins, Morgan, and Bush are the ones I am hoping we can get to come back.

Any legitimate insight?

Collins and Morgan didn't receive tenders, so they're UFA now.

eta: Johnson too.

Strief is the only one I feel we absolutely should resign. I heard Morgan isn't even running yet, so I'm not sure what that means for him this year. There's still time, but he had the injury in training camp.

I'd like Haralson back, even there's no guarantee he'll make the roster. If Rufus makes strides, he could push for a roster spot this year. We could draft someone as well.

What's the story with Collins? I know FB isn't a large part of our offense, but when the running game started clicking late in the season, he was a huge part of the reason why.

I don't think I like anyone above him in the current pool other than maybe Kuhn from GB.

Strief & Haralson for sure.

Collins on a min deal.

I think we all got the same 3-4 players in mind. Question is, can we free up the cap space?

We actually use our FB more than most teams.

Evans getting healthy I think was the biggest factor in the run game turning around, and Armstead just sent it over the top.

No. He's not. He lacks power, and more importantly, focus.

This list is incomplete and inaccurate.

Offense
QB McCown
FB Collins
WR Moore
WR Meachem
WR Morgan
WR Toone
LT Brown
C De la Puente
RT Strief

Defense
DE Johnson
OLB Smith
OLB Haralson
ILB Herring
ILB Vilma
CB Greer
CB Carr
S Pugh
S Bush(RFA; tendered)

Guys we know won't be back are Smith, Vilma, Johnson, and Brown(first 3 along with Greer were said though Greer if healthy has a shot to come back cheap; Brown was "said" when he was benched).

Guys that could be back at vet minimum or very cheap are McCown, Collins(though we are looking at Lorig from TB), Meachem, Morgan, Toone(camp body), Haralson, Herring, Carr, and Pugh.

Outside shot Moore or De la Puente come back cheap, but they will likely command more than we are willing to pay.

Strief is the only "big money" guy we may bring back.

Guys they actually said they want back are Strief, Haralson, and Meachem.

He was the reason I was screaming for a trade up in the first because I knew he was going to frick us. Little did I know the front office had a 3rd round stud in mind.

Strief

And we better sign Bush. He was ready to take heads off at the end of the season. Dude was all over the place

He was tendered, but I don't think he signed it yet(formality anyway). The question is will someone try to sign him away. We get no compensation if he is as he was tendered at the original pick level and was an UDFA.
