basics is cone drills. Getting them comfortable navigating with the ball. Learning touch. Learning to turn and protect the ball.
But realistically, just how to kick it and have fun playing. Getting them interested in the sport and team concepts and winning.
Hopefully yours won't be the kids who sit down and pick grass.
Like any other sport, kids don't have great motor skills at that age so they can't do much. The point is to basically help your kids learn body control at this age. Other than that, you can't do much else.

practice going back and forth across a field with the ball.
but they'll lose interest in this.
if you can get a group up, you can split the group up and throw in a bunch of balls and get them to try keep the balls out of their area.

Juggling. Give them a goal. Lets say if they can juggle the ball 50 times you agree to get them a puppy. Or whatever the prize, ps4? My parents did this with my sister an I as kids and it completely changed our games. We were clearly more skilled than the rest of the kids playing after about 2 months.

Start by taking your kids shoes off and letting them play like that. It's the fastest/easiest way to teach them not to toe punch the ball.
Take the ball from them using only your feet and tease them to get it back using only their feet. Make it a fun game. Cone drills lose kids interest fast.

Red light, yellow light, green light. Have them dribble around and switch those 3 up. Red-stop, yellow-dribble slow, green-dribble fast. Throw some turns in too.

Set the cones in a line at 2 foot intervals and let them weave thru it with the ball. Back and forth.
Touches on top of the ball.
-ball on ground in front of toes. jump from one foot to the other touching the stationary ball with toes as you jump
Penguins on the ball.
-place ball between the feet. Jumping slightly off one foot then the next, keep the ball kicking back and forth from inside heel to inside heel.

Cone drills. Dribble with the inside and outside of both feet.

ball touch ball touch ball touch shielding ball touch ball touch shielding.
can't say it enough.
just look up some simple ball touch drills, wouldn't focus too much on having them try to pass the ball, cause that'll never happen in a game scenario at their age anyway.

Wrong, shooting is one of the last drills you teach at that age!
