What is a good Entergy kWh power cost to use

I just bought a power meter to track how much power a few devices in my house use. It has a custom field where you can put in your cost per kWh so it can estimate how much the monthly cost would be. I looked at my last bill and came up with like .09583 per kWh.. Is that a fair number to use?

I thought the same thing.

Yep. That's awfully accurate.

Probably a good cost or you can round up to .10
Here in Oahu, we are over .35 a kWh. It goes over .42 on the other islands

LA has a god mix of fuel sources. And if natural gas prices are low, the results are low rates.
Rates are low but that "Fuel Adjustment" is a mother fricker

.08 to .09 are typically pretty good averages in the south....

Going grid based solar. You can get an idea of the cost of energy in each state from the map. Now if you went with a battery backup system it could save even more.

That's what I thought. I am a Project Developer here and solar/PV has been killing it for me the last few years
Hadn't seen this map though. I'd say the majority of proposals I see are saving about $80k+ here over 20 years. It's the biggest no-brainer I've seen when you look at the cost of electricity, the amount of sunshine, and the state and fed incentives.

Let me know when you want to get off the grid

My company is looking into hybrid battery/inverters now. What you got?
ETA: The utility here is screwing a lot of people over and making them wait to connect to the grid.

Entergy has some of the lowest rates in the investor owned utilities. The storm recovery cost are built in so the true cost is around 8 and some change. PSC regulates the rates + storm and fuel recovery

I can do with 6 panels what it takes the others 24 panels to do.
