White is not a bad CB but he is inconsistent.

Yeah but he's young. I'll take a guy who has a lot of potential any day.

He was also in Samford two years ago.

He's shown nothing but improvement since then.

I wouldn't say inconsistent. More like he is incomplete and needs to improve certain areas.

He's problems are actually very consistent, as are his strengths.

Exactly. He was thrown to the wolves and handled himself as much as could be expected.

He also had the misfortune of spending his crucial rookie season under the tutelage of the worst defensive coordinator in NFL history.

This has to be a troll. Go watch both Seattle games this past year and then come back and try saying he is at least average. Dude sucks.

This article about CW was written before one of the games in question.

1badgame?

I like Cory as well but I think he is out of position in my opinion. He was rated as one of the best safeties coming out of the 12' combine and has the skill set to prove it. He is strong against the run and a strong tackler and i think his cover skills would suit him better as a safety. As soon as the Saints improve the depth at CB and find a true #2 (maybe not this year), I wouldn't be surprised to see him as one of the 3 safeties RR likes to play.
