Have you ever had teenagers or underage kids ask you randomly at a gas station or grocery store to buy you beer/booze? Did you do it?

I did this back in the day in like 9th/10th grade with a terrible success rate and we called it “Hey Mr.-ing”.

Anyways, just happened to me for the first time and I bought it for them. He gave me $40 for a case of beer and told me to keep the change and he was clearly in college. shite, he looked my age (I’m 26). What kind of college kid doesn’t have a fake ID or a friend with one?

I used to "hey Mr." but I have never been asked.
I'm too paranoid these days. They have task forces and stage set-ups all the time.

excellent way to get arrested. Also in many states if that kid goes out and kills somebody DUI style, if they can tie it back to you, you can get sued or arrested or both.

I've had underage girls ask me to buy them cigarettes. I said no and left.

The one about to die in a fiery crash from drinking and driving?

After careening off the school bus full of kids of course.

I did it in high school but wouldn't do it for a kid now because it's not worth it if a sting is in play.

Thanks Obama

We just used to do grab and runs. Walk casually to the back, grab a case, stroll to the front, then bolt to the car with your friends waiting by the door. Young and dumb.

I don't respect the kids asking someone to buy for them but I usually make my decision based on how good their story is.

Bought beer with my buddy back in school around 2005 at the Winn Dixie on Burbank. We were both of age and on the way out we were stopped by undercover officers from the beverage commission and asked for our ID's. Just because you bought the alcohol does not mean you are home free yet.

I was worried about this, but no task force I've ever seen has looked that legit

Squirrely, nerdy looking dudes and the leader had a Belmont shirt on and they were in a beat to shite Tahoe.

I always make them give me head in exchange. Then I wouldn't buy the cigs bc I didn't want to break 3 laws.

We called it 'shoulder tapping' and had a pretty good success rate. I have not, and would not ever buy it for someone else.

we used to do this in middle school for cigarettes, and by we I mean my best friend because I was too big of a pussy to actually approach someone.

We never had to do that with alcohol...his mom would buy it for us as long as we stayed at the house

When we had parties, and the freshman girls would bring along some dweeby Johnny Coolcat fresh out of High Shcool, he would ask us to buy booze. Kid has no clue how much the stuff is. Gives me $40, and we get him the cheapest shite possible, and pocket the rest
