Other than fish and chips, how do you eat those things, or are they just for bait?

I grilled some last week. I think I'm going to blacken next time.

Cod makes a good strew or chowder. One of my favorite ways to eat it.

Also, breaded and baked, or make fish tacos or wraps with cod.

Nah. You can get creative with your breading. Wraps or tacos are my favorite way though. A native friend of mine makes some awesome chowder with cod though.

Definitely a good way to prepare cod.

May sound weird, but using a yogurt sauce, pouring or smoothing over filets and baking is another good way. I've done this with halibut too. Put lime juice or lemon in plain yogurt, spread over fish and bake. Makes it really moist and flavorful. You can mix spices in the concoction as well. I've put mozzarella on top about 10 min. before it's finished baking as well.

I like a good cod chowder with crab thrown in. Prefer king crab or even lobster.

Pops and his paisans make a Croatian soup called baccala from salted cod, potatoes, and onions. shite will stink up the kitchen for days. I've never developed a taste for it.
