How do they know it's brilliant if it hasn't even opened yet?

I've had one from Tennessee Brew Works. Was their Basil Ryeman. Pretty solid.

I went to Wicked Weed on our trip to Asheville... enjoyed it so much we made time for a second visit before we came home. Great beer, and a huge lineup at the downstairs bar.

I've tried a couple of Ecliptic beers. While solid, they didn't live up to the hype (brewer John Harris is the guy who invented The Abyss and Black Butte Porter). I haven't been to the brewery, yet. Will try some time this spring. I've heard their bottled stuff isn't as good as the stuff on tap at the brewery.

I went to Wicked Weed in Asheville a couple weeks ago. Neat place with some good arse beers. I'll be up there next month and probably 3-4 more times this year. Looking forward to it..

Definitely spent a lot of cash moneys at Wicked Weed. And will continue to do so.

Hmmm...I haven't had a chance to try that one. I have had their Country Roots sweet potato stout that was solid. Is this the brewery around the corner from Third Man Records?

Yeah. Pretty much across the train tracks from Yazoo. They weren't open when I was home for Christmas, but Craft Brewed had the saison on tap. I thought it was weird they had a saison out at Christmas, but I didn't argue with the girl and drank the beer.

Asheville has seemed to become the Portland of the southeast. Craft beer seems to be booming there.

This just makes me want to take a very long road trip with some friends.

It's now the craft beer capital of the US.

Hmm Asheville isn't too far away from me. Might need to look into taking a weekend trip.
