Was going to Toledo but the Texas Oilmen changed that.

My buddy fished a tournament there last weekend and placed 6th.

I think 1st place payed out $800 .

I will fish it next year.

Any reports?

I heard some males were being caught last weekend but no females yet. So maybe it will turn on soon

Last weekend. Spinnerbait. White/char. Sitting in 18ft bass suspended in 8-6ft water. Let spinner sink and reel slow. Only 2 bites, but 7lbs of fish in the boat.

I'm fishing Toledo this weekend. No bites today but saw males on the banks. Threw senkos, craws, jigs at them. On their heads. No takers. A cast net would have done the trick though

Try to find some Fat Alberts salt and pepper color.
Throw it near the fish and let it sit.
Caught one over 5 on a bed last year after th other 2 guys in the boat got tired trying to catch it.
Move your plastics as painfully slow as you can even dead sticking.
Think of it as you are trying to feel every inch of th bottom.
GOOD LUCK

Good luck, I am tied up with kid activities, but will try my best to go somewhere. I plan on Saline, but I think the rain may keep me off on Sat and Sun. We will see.

That's not too bad... they definitely like a crawfish bait right now... I was throwing it on a shakyhead

Got back a little bit ago. I cleaned nine, none had eggs. They're definitely moving up, it definitely takes a lot patience to put them in the boat, but the fish are there.

Nice.

Ended up with 13 keepers.

Biggest was 5.2. My biggest at IC.
Gave them all to my neighbor since he has none in his freezer.

Had 3 over 4.

Caught all but 1 on the craw worm...

Going back tomorrow.
