I do not have direct dealings with the Kymco, but know a guy with 2 side by sides.
He said they are kind of "frankenstien" as far as parts (ex. Rhino axles), so parts availability isnt too much of a problem.
Where I hunt in Arkansas, quite a few guys have been buying them lately.
I am all about "tried and true" equipment, not wanting to test a machine for that amount of money (although it seems Kymco is stepping up their gamw in the market), therefore I would probably choose the Honda.

Dude, I will sell you a Kawasaki Brute Force 2012, 4x2 300 with only 126 miles for 3200.00 OBO. Still under warranty until July

That is a hard lesson to learn... good lessons are usually expensive though.

Kymcos look like Honda and Yamaha were knocking boots and Kawasaki stepped in the 4th quarter for the money shot.

Thats not the reason why. Moving is. Dont need it and takes up space.
Where i lease is all gravel roads, no need for a 4x4

Those two named shouldn't even been in the same sentence.
I would recommend you get a 4x4 rancher and govern it. Mitch bigger resale market for a 420 rancher than a 250. Also he will outgrow a 250 and he will be wanting more in 3 or 4 years.
Never ever ever ever buy a 2wd atv

Oh I got ya... you're gonna have trouble selling though because of that. 4x4's carry a way better resale value in all vehicles.
Not digging on you, but you have cut the market by 75% at least. Most people want or think they need a 4x4.

I was guessing so. Might as well park it at my dads. Its paid for.

Want? Hell no I'm just not willing to give up my man card to buy a 2wd wheeler

I had a 2wd Recon 250 for a while in high school. It was great.

I'd second this, 4x4 Honda Foreman or Rancher.

I ride mowed cow pasture and pine tree fire lanes... I have a 4x4 rancher though.
I do find myself riding my mom's bad boy buggy a lot more these days...
