Everything I read or heard was that he was going to be let go but he wasn't officially let go. Now to my point STEPHEN A. SMITH is going off as to the Saints should be penalized draft picks cause they lied to sporles to his face. His words "if you told the man you're going to let the man walk free let him walk free, but if you lied to him in his face they should be penalized".

It's the nature of the business, and it is what it is. If the Saints can get some value for Sproles, then they will trade him, which they did. I don't understand how this is news. No one lied to anyone.
