Geno Smith ain't Payton Manning.

What do expect out of him?

Unless Geno can make some major strides or they sign a veteran quarterback.

I don't have the stat in front of me, but I heard yesterday that in the last 3 yrs, he ranks in the top 6 in catches, yards, and TDS. That's pretty good.

No way that happens in NY.

How did Decker fair with Tebow and Orton?

Absolutely nothing, not only is he going to be dealing with subpar QB play but he is also the only legit WR threat on the roster which will lead to him getting blanketed by the opposing team's secondary

I will be avoiding him at all costs.

That's not really how things work. In theory, that sounds good and all, but coaches aren't going to adjust their schemes drastically like that.

he did well with tebow but was pretty TD reliant if I recall correctly

In 12 regular season starts with Tebow, Decker had 22 rec, 346 yds, and 5 TDS.

T'was my point. Once DT88 got healthy, his stats dwindled, though.

I've had Decker on at least one team every year since his rookie.

I am staying away. I just don't see how the dysfunctional Jets O can result in any fantasy significance for him. Unless they get a QB, but even then I'd be leery.

Geno Smith was a rookie with zero offensive weapons. Seriously, that team was terrible everywhere on offense.

Anyway, are a lot of WRs who produce with bad QBs. Josh Gotdon missed 2 games and was the best WR in the league with possibly the worst QB in the league

So you're saying Eric Decker = Josh Gordon?

No. But Decker isn't Andy Tanner, either. He's proven to be one of the best red zone WRs in the NFL and will be the primary option on that team.

Gordon
Andre Johnson
Jordy
Garcon
VJax
Kendall Wright
Hartline
Floyd

These dudes were 1k WRs last year with shite QBs.

He should be drafted like he normally would. Smith will either get better or they will replace him with a vet backup.

Well Peyton threw it 200+ times more than Geno did last year. Having Payton throw him the ball elevated Decker's ADP. Plus he won't have D.T., Julius, Welker to take some of the coverage off him.

Idk. I see your point too.
