Ive looked down the wrong end of a barrel a few times... I have no problem shooting: robbers, rapists, murderers, intruders, or anyone in my home/hotel room intending to do those things.
Will it bother me to take a human life...probably. will it keep me up nights...negative. Because unlike this father I wouldnt pull the trigger because the kid was banging a daughter.
And to clarify, uninvited in my house at night, I dont care if youre stealing sugar packets, you made the decision to be in the life or death situation.
Edit: the judge IS the dumbest handgun of all time.

It's not like I said I'd shoot the kid for banging my daughter. (I don't have a daughter)
I said if the kid laid his hands on the father, he has a right to threaten the kid with a gun. If the kid then continues the altercation and refuses to leave, then he's justified in shooting him. I don't see what's so dumb about that.
