For those wondering, Phoenix would currently be the 4th seed in the East and Minnesota would be the 7th seed.

So you have a great battle for the 1 seed going on.

Houston and LA have both been extremely hot lately.

Suddenly the 5th seed seems to be up for grabs with Portland playing .500 basketball lately. LaMarcus Aldridge's injury could possibly effect their seeding.

Golden State has sort of separated themselves lately, but the battle for those last 3 remaining spots is going to be great. PHX is obviously struggling, but they just got back Bledsoe from injury.

I wish the Pels were in the East.

The West is so stacked.

In the East the Pels would be fighting for a playoff spot with a good chance of getting in.

With their best 5 players healthy, they would have a chance at the 3rd seed in the East. Their best 5 healthy in the west they are fighting for 7-8th seed at best. It's insane.

I wish the playoffs started today. OKC and the clips on the otherside of the bracket. Jail blazers limping to the finish line, maybe without LMA. This would be the dream scenario as a rockets fan

My hunch (which changes daily ) says the Dubs grab the 5th seed from POR, and the Rox slip past Lob City for the 3 seed.

Also, I think OKC pushes harder for (and gets) the #1 seed.

Which means SA most likely would get MEM in round 1

I just think health/cohesion is of greater importance to SA than seeding. Not that it isn't important for every contender, but given the Spurs' age/style of play, it's that much more important.

Not that I wouldn't like to see 'em with the #1 overall seed as a fan, though, of course.

I thought this was a Western Conference Playoff team thread. Why are the Pelicans keep being mentioned in here?

I hope the standings stay just like that at the end of the season.

Every first round matchup would be awesome:

Spurs vs Mavs
OKC vs Memphis
LAC vs Golden State
Houston vs Portland

You realize this is the WEST, right?

There aren't very many "forgone conclusion" series.

Count out the Grizz? You're already fricked.
