Pretty good center for the Packs for 5 years now. Would be a good replacement for DLP.. He's a faster, more athletic center that can get outside on a screen if need be. Decent size and strength.
I would rather get a proven starter than take a chance on someone in the draft.
Not ruling DLP out of the picture either.

Why? He's freaking terrible.

i think DLP is gone. very slim chance he comes back. but i agree we need someone who can handle the reigns for a year or two while we groom someone. im fond of the idea of bringing goodwin back for a year or two. hear the 49ers are done with him

I would love to take Dietrich-Smith and then draft a RT rounds 1-3

My gut feeling is the same. Goodwin would be a good addition as well, I didn't know he was done in San Fran.

Greg Robinson, bar none.

However, not a center.
He also played at Thibodaux High School

I'm not fearful of Lelito + Swanson, Richburg, Martin, Stork, or Larsen in the 2nd to 5th Rd. Actually think it will be an upgrade over dlP or EDS.
